Abstract The authors of the article examine possibility extracting geothermal energy to Earth’s surface using circulation a heat carrier – water. For this purpose, an oil well is operated that already suspended and no longer used for its original purpose. A system mass transfer equations describing distribution in ground around coolant presented. mathematical model developed calculating flow amount from depending on time, thermal parameters soil temperature; temperature field near-well space calculation determining heating transporting performed; optimal period operation by potential non-reduced determined; recovery time required subsequent calculated. Various depths, gradient, water injection rates are considered. first relationship between liquid inter-tube inner tube considered simultaneously.
